Blues have come out of the international break flying - back to back victories.

It has moved them on up to the fringes of the top two in the Championship.

In episode 58 of the podcast, Colin Tattum and Paul Tait dissect the wins over West Bromwich Albion and Preston North End.

Blues utilised contrasting styles. In short, they can mix it and be physical, and apply pressure through their set-pieces; or they can keep possession and play you off the park.

It's part of Chris Davies' masterplan for his side, as he wants them to become a top team and not an Average Joe that just 'floats by'.

Tatts and Taity discuss the tactical variations, the manager's mindset and also the blossoming of five-goal August Priske.

The back four, and Alex Cochrane in particular, get their flowers although Tatts is chastised for neglecting a true rock of the side.

Jay Stansfield's development into more of an all-round player is looked at, with a worry there for Taity.

There's a revisiting of the assessment of an Albion star - he's been sent packing - and the guys reveal which Blues stalwart could be on his way.

A big thank you to our principal partners Davisons Law for their support of the podcast.

And also to the Big Bulls Head in Digbeth - the place to be for Blues fans on matchday especially.
