Forever Blues podcast - episode 57
05.10.26, 22:09
The countdown begins to Birmingham City's return to action - at the Hawthorns, to take on West Bromwich Albion.
And in a special crossover episode of the podcast, Colin Tattum is joined by former Birmingham Mail and Sports Argus colleague Steve Tudgay, who runs the Full Throstle podcast and website on the same CounterPress network as Forever Blues.
Steve is a renowned local media figure and former Albion correspondent.
The guys give the lowdown on Saturday lunchtime's clash, and Steve promises that Albion are under pressure to deliver a performance after what happened to them at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
And there is concern over the form of frontman Aune Heggebo, with Steve suggesting he might come out of James Morrison's side for the game.
Both Colin and Steve pick the player from the opposition side they would add to their own - praise incoming for Jhon Solis and Jimmy-Jay Morgan.
There's a trip down memory lane recalling famous Hawthorns meetings of the past, including the drama surrounding Paul Robinson and Damien Johnson, plus a miserable season to forget in 1984/85 for both teams.
The pair provide their predictions for the game and Colin reckons it could be an open, back and forth, affair.
So, enjoy this Forever Blues x Full Throstle collaboration, bringing you the best insight from either camp!
A big thank you to our principal partners Davisons Law.
And also to the support from the Big Bulls Head. If you can't get to the game, then pop down to watch it there in Digbeth.
