Blues are set to appoint former striker James McPike as their new under-18s lead coach.
McPike last week announced his departure from Wolverhampton Wanderers, after eight years, on LinkedIn.
And he is understood to be moving back to Blues, where he came through the Academy ranks as a player.
His appointment is part of a coaching restructuring at the Knighthead Performance Centre, Wast Hills.
