Chris Davies says Blues must come out of the transfer window with a better, stronger squad.
The manager is keen to add at least two players who could go straight into his side.
So far this summer he has signed six, whilst top-target Ibrahim Osman went back to Brighton & Hove Albion after his loan and looks to be staying put, and Kai Wagner's exit came unexpectedly.
"I have said all along we need to get into a position where we feel we have a better squad than we did last year," said Davies, at his pre-match press conference.
