It was as humbling as it was heart-warming.
And Tom Wagner's reappearance at St. Andrew's after eight months said so much about the man.
Blues and the football world were left stunned in February when it was announced that the Blues chairman and the club's ultimate driving force had suffered a stroke.
From then on, quite naturally and quite rightly, Wagner was given privacy to concentre on his recovery.
