Max Bird has settled in seamlessly at Blues.

The £2.2 million signing from Saturday's opponents Bristol City has the kind of personality and playing versatility that Chris Davies likes.

"He's settled in very quickly," said the manager. "He has got a personality that is like . . it's instant.

"He's really a sort of guy you see that connects with people really well. He knew what he was coming into. He's one of those players it feels like he's been here six months not just six days. Straight into it."
