Jhon Solis - the rise of the midfielder continues

Blues, though, is the right place to be for Solis, who has captured more attention after making his international debut

Jhon Solis' upward trajectory shows no sign of slowing.

And that's both a blessing and maybe a curse for Blues.

The midfielder marked his 22nd birthday on Saturday by making his international debut for Colombia, as an 83rd minute substitute in a 1-0 friendly defeat by Paraguay in New Jersey.

That was followed up by Solis' first start for his country, against Peru in Miami. Solis was withdrawn in the 61st minute of the 2-0 victory in another friendly.
