Blues will play a behind closed doors friendly during the international break to get them ready for the resumption of Championship action.
Their next competitive match is a derby at West Bromwich Albion on October 10.
Due to the elongated lull - the national team window has been extended from a fortnight to three weeks, to cut down the number of breaks in a season - Blues don't want to risk losing match sharpness.
So a game has been pencilled in for October 3, against opponents who are being kept under wraps.
