Blues are trying to get Hull City wideman Liam Millar to St. Andrew's.
They are battling it out with Middlesbrough for the Canada World Cup star.
Millar, 26, scored the Tigers winning goal in their second Premier League match at Coventry City on Saturday.
But they are willing to let Millar go as they completely revamp their squad for the top-flight amid a flurry of transfer deadline day deals.
