Blues making sure they are ready to go for the derby at West Bromwich Albion

Chris Davies has kept the intensity levels up during the international break and has also had his side working on being 'better with the ball'

Blues believe they will be ready to cope with whatever is thrown at them at the Hawthorns on Saturday.

They have treated the international break like a 'second pre-season', maintaining an intensity to their training and also using the time to finely-tune certain aspects of their football.

So they won't be going into the match against West Bromwich Albion lacking sharpness and focus - at least that is the hope.

The Baggies clash begins a block of seven games to the next round of internationals in November. Blues might see more of the ball than they did in the opening salvo to the season, so work at EPIC has taken this into account too.
