Why Alex Cochrane and Bright Osayi-Samuel have gone up another level
19.10.26, 14:52 Updated 19.10.26, 15:01
A feature of Blues promising start to the season has been the contribution of both full-backs.
Alex Cochrane and the resurgent Bright Osayi-Sameul have upped their performance levels in a settled back four that has a promotion-calibre look about it.
Left-back Cochrane's delivery, notably at set-plays, has been an outstanding feature, as has his effectiveness joining the attack with raids down the flank in support of Liam Millar or Demarai Gray.
But Cochrane's defensive capabilities have also taken a turn for the better after assimilating everything that came with his first experience of the Championship in 2025/26.
